Driving Directions to Crocodile Bend River Lodge

  1. Bypass Nelspruit on the N4. Please note that there is a toll gate between Nelspruit and Mjejane Game Reserve.  All major credit cards are accepted.

  2. Drive through Malelane in the direction of Komatipoort

  3. Drive for 18km and bypass Hectorspruit

  4. Drive a further 3km

  5. Mjejane sign is on left with security check in

  6. At security you will be asked to pay the mandatory Mjejane Conservation Fee. The fee is valid for 7 consecutive days and is payable upon arrival.

  7. Once checked in drive 2km - Guests must adhere to the speed limits within Mjejane Game Reserve. Any speeding fines issued are the sole responsibility of the guest and will not be covered by the lodge.

  8. Drive under railway bridge

  9. In 6km you’ll come to an electric gate….enter

  10. Immediately on your left will be a sign to the ‘Bush Lodge’…follow this gravel road

  11. Drive past ‘Bush Lodge East’ sign

  12. Drive past ‘Bush Lodge West’ sign

  13. When road forks keep right

  14. 113 Crocodile Bend will be on your right

  15. Enjoy your stay!

Flights

Flights to the Lodge: Guests can fly with Airlink or Safair to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA), which is the closest major airport to the lodge. Both airlines operate regular scheduled services, making access convenient from key regional hubs.

Lodge Transfers

Private shuttle services are available from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport to the lodge. These are operated independently, and guests will need to arrange them directly. A quick online search will provide several options, allowing you to choose the service that best suits your schedule and preferences.
